Abstract
Describes
a study of the effect of zirconium addition to zeolite-containing catalysts for
dimethyl ether conversion to lower olefins. The effect of the nature of the
zirconium compound on the catalytic properties of a zeolite catalyst was
analyzed, and a method for generating new acid sites through the sulfation of a
Zr-containing zeolite matrix was developed.
Using physicochemical methods, authors demonstrate that the
processing of a zeolite with zirconium and sulfur compounds does not lead to
the degradation of its structure and a change in the adsorption volume.
