Abstract
|
Many
refinery products, including gasoline, are produced as a result of different
materials blending. To achieve a product with specified quality, several materials
are blended together. A number of decisions must be maid in order to prepare
a product via blending of several refinery products.
Researchers studied the blending of light weight products in Arak refinery, where gasoline is the main product. Their goal was to blend these materials such that, in addition to having the expected quality, refinery profitability was maximized. Their model was solved via linear planning technique using Lingo software. |
