Abstract
|
Researchers
designed a procedure for non-linear modelling of the highly complex and
dynamic Fluidized Catalytic Cracking process through the use of fuzzy logic
controller. Fuzzy logic based system makes use of human knowledge base to
define rule set which acts as the backbone of the FLC. The myriad range of
application of fuzzy logic makes it an efficient tool to model such complex
chemical processes as fluidized catalytic cracking. Researchers objective is
to analyze the various process parameters involved in the complex catalytic
cracking process using fuzzy logic controller(FLC).
The results are simulated using Matlab-fuzzy logic toolbox R2013a. The real time process data used here has been obtained from FCCU division of BPCL refinery, Mumbai. |
