Abstract
Describes development of ultra deep hydrodesulfurization (UDHDS) catalysts, as well as a study of their kinetics. Experiments were conducted earlier in a continuous flow microreactor over a presulfided catalyst in the temperature range of 330–360°C, whsv in the range of 1–3 hr−1, and pressure in the range of 25–50 bar at hydrogen to hydrocarbon ratio of 750 N dm3/dm3, and its kinetic parameters estimated.
Researchers simulated effects of physical catalyst parameters on the internal resistance.  Author suggests paths to improving kinetics for optimum UDHDS catalyst performance.
