Abstract
Authors present an oxidation reaction system using the commercial carbon nanotubes (CNTs) as catalysts for the liquid aerobic oxidation of cumene to cumene hydroperoxide (CHP) under low temperature.
This study provides an applicable method for selective oxidation of cumene to cumene hydroperoxide (CHP).
It also gives some useful information on catalytic role of CNTs-catalyzed liquid-phase oxidation reactions of aromatic hydrocarbons.
