Abstract
|
Describes
the effects of a lubricant oil droplet on start of combustion of fuel-air
mixture. Lubricant oil is thought to be a major source of stochastic
pre-ignitions in some form in highly boosted spark ignition engines.
However, the phenomena has not yet been fully understood. This due to the fact that unpredictable occurrences as well as complexity of mixture and thermodynamical conditions in engine cylinder chamber such as temperature distribution, residual gas and deposit makes its analysis difficult. |
