Abstract
|
Reports
a study of the effects of various templates on HZSM-5 catalyst morphology and
activity in the conversion of methanol to propylene (MTP). Researchers
synthesized high silica HZSM-5 catalysts (Si/Al = 200) using Ludox as silica
source and different structure directing agents (SDAs).
The catalyst with TPABr as template represented the highest propylene selectivity (45%), methanol conversion (99.8%), and long lifetime (72 h). |
