Abstract
|
The
wettability of metal surface is of great interest due to its potential
application in academic research and practical application. Researchers
fabricated hierarchical structures consisting of micro-flowers and secondary
nano-sheets using electrodeposition and solution-immersion process on X90
pipeline steel substrate. The CuO flower-like structures in situ grew on the
surface of deposition Cu coating via chemical reactions in the process of
solution-immersion, which was similar to the surface morphology of the lotus
leaf.
After fluorinated modification, the CuO film on the X90 pipeline steel exhibited a fine superamphiphobic, as well as an excellent self-cleaning property. In addition, potentiodynamic polarization measurement indicated that the superamphiphobic CuO film significantly improved the corrosion resistance of the X90 pipeline steel. The superamphiphobic CuO film of the steel substrate surface was achieved by a simple and inexpensive process that was suitable for any shape. This provided new multifunctional applications of deposition metal coating, including superamphiphobic, self-cleaning and corrosion resistance properties. |
