Design and Implementation of Turbine Flow Sensor Based on Photoelectric Detection

De Zhi Zheng, Fei Wang, Ji Ying Shi, Hao Wang
Abstract
Turbine flow sensors are used widely in gas and liquid transportation and other industries for measuring liquid or gas flowrate, due to the advantages of simple structure and low cost. Authors studied the output pulse signal property of a turbine flow sensor.
They designed a new turbine flow sensor based on photoelectric detection to achieve the dynamic response,. In addition, experimental testing on the turbine flow sensor was performed on standard calibration facilities with high accuracy. The results confirm the feasibility of the design.
