Abstract
Part 1 of an article which reviews how various
trial designs of palladium alloy membrane systems are being employed to maximize
the efficient production of high-density hydrogen. Authors discuss the economic
viability of hydrogen production and reviews various hydrogen production
technologies. He summarizes the categories of membrane technology available for
trial designs of hydrogen separation and purification systems, major sources of
value for metallic membranes and the areas where high-density hydrogen is
needed.
