Abstract
|
Authors
investigated the short-term scheduling problem of crude oil operations to
realize a given refining schedule. They formulated the problem as an integer
programming model by using discrete-time representation. Because of the
difficulty of solving it in an exact way, they transformed it into a dynamic
charging tank assignment problem in which heuristics are applicable.
They then designed a heuristic approach to solve the problem. They use an industrial case study to demonstrate the application of the method. |
