Abstract
The
conventional step test method used for industrial process identification is
time-consuming and disrupts production. Authors take the sensitive tray
temperature control system of the s-trioxane concentration column as a research
object. They obtain step test models and experience models. They simulate and
compare the predictive ability of the two kinds of model. They then construct an
MPC controller based on experience models and apply it to an actual plant. Results
reveal that the MPC controller can effectively improve the stability of the
sensitive tray temperature.
